more colour inspiration

Another type of blue

Unlike the previous colour schemes, these ones just show different shades of dark to mild chroma blue. I explored these type of blues to ensure I have explored colour enough. I am inspired by Sarah Machtsachen. This image comes across a calm due to the combination of a pale and strong blues.  This message is one of possible feelings that I want to convey. Reefs sometimes signify leisure and relaxation.  The calmness of the blues should connote that reefs are calm and beautiful places.

Combining saturated and unsaturated colours establishes relationships. Just like with white negative space, using pale and strong colours in the hue creates unity. For example using a pale blue for the container and strong blue for text creates a connection In addition, it separates it from different sections of the page.

Using many levels of saturation also makes the design look soft.

This is another  example of weak vs pale.

Sally Carmichael

The chosen colours used Carmichael is simple but very great for hierarchy. When looking at the design, the heading and the massive number are the main focal points.  This high chroma orange is a great colour that maintains balance against the unsaturated background colour. Orange is a vibrant colour that provides energy, making it very great for maintaining people concentration. However, aggressiveness  of the orange make portray a wrong message. I will need some feedback when it comes to the presentation.
